It's a two-hour test comprising 110 multiple choices questions about all aspects of being a pharmacy technician. There are many aspiring candidates for certification examinations from a wide variety of testing centers, with more than ten thousand applicants coming from the United States alone. Among the different states with ICPT certified technicians, most of them are found in Oregon, Illinois, Maryland, Iowa, and Virginia. Be aware that a $100 fee is required as payment for the examination given by the ICPT. You can pay this examination cost through credit card. Payment through check or money order is also acceptable. However, such expenses would be nothing compared to how much they could earn from this occupation.
